Coinbase will convert Aerodrome Finance (AERO) and Velodrome Finance (VELO) to the new Aero (AERO) token from November 2 - 4, 2026. AERO will be converted at a rate of 1:1 and VELO will be converted at a rate of approximately 0.044 AERO per VELO. There will be no transaction fees associated with the conversion.
Sends and receives for AERO and VELO will be temporarily disabled from November 2 - 4, 2026 and will be re-enabled on November 4, 2026. VELO trading will be disabled on November 2, 2026. Trading of AERO will not be impacted. Please refrain from depositing or transferring AERO or VELO during this time.
After the migration, Coinbase will only support deposits and withdrawals of the new AERO token. Please do not send the legacy AERO token to your Coinbase deposit address after the migration is complete, as these deposits may not be recoverable. For VELO, automatic conversion may have tax consequences. Please consult your local tax professional.
